I am working with a leading FM service provider who are searching for a mechanical bias building services engineer to work on a busy commercial site based in West London. To be considered for this role, you must be willing to be busy at most parts of the day, dealing with many reactive and pre-planned maintenance tasks.
- £42,000 - £44,000 per annum + Overtime
- Mon to Fri (7am to 4pm and/or 8am to 5pm) + Weeekend Overtime
- West London - Static
Duties
- Servicing and maintaining HVAC systems that use fluorinated gases, including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and heat pumps.
- Ensure all installations comply with F-gas regulations and industry standards
- Use specialised equipment to test system performance, ensuring efficiency and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Safely handle and manage F-gases, including charging and recovering refrigerants from systems
- Checking refrigerant levels
- Maintaining high pressure pumps
- Replacing mechanical seals
- General buildind plumbing maintenance
- Liaising with the site Facility Manager to report all breakdowns and maintenance works carried out
- Strip downs of AHUs/FCUs
- Supporting the wider shift maintenance team on-site
- Liaising with external contractors
Requirements
- C&G / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & heating or mechanical engineering (essential)
- 18th Edition (desirable)
- Previous facilities maintenance experience in commercial sector (essential)
