- Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Are you an experienced and qualified Mobile Maintenance Electrician looking for a new opportunity? My client has an exciting position available in the North East for a skilled individual to join their team. You will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance services, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out reactive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring minimal downtime across a range of sites, primarily schools and office blocks.
- Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep things running smoothly.
- Handling minor general maintenance tasks as needed, showcasing your versatile skills.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance tasks.
- Undertake minor installation tasks, including minor projects related to power supply, lighting, power distribution, motors and pumps etc.
- Competent on BMS control systems and PAT tester
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, ensuring timely repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement
- Undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the resident group
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a qualified Electrician (NVQ/C&G, with a strong background in maintenance)
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations knowledge is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair in a commercial setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid UK driver's license is essential, as this role involves travel between sites.
