Randstad Construction & Property is collaborating with a global Facilities Management firm in their search for an experienced and time-served electrician to conduct planned and reactive electrical maintenance in the Edinburgh area.
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: Competitive (up to £40,000 based on experience)

Typical Daily Tasks:
- Performing routine electrical tasks and planned preventive maintenance (PPMs)
- Conducting emergency lighting assessments
- Monitoring the Building Management System (BMS)
- Identifying faults and addressing reactive work as needed
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Delivering high-quality services to customers and contract holders
- Participating in the on-call rota
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Possession of a valid UK driving license
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship and relevant trade qualifications in electrical work
- City & Guilds or equivalent certification in electrical installations or a related field
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- Prior experience in the FM or building maintenance industry
