As a Multi-Skilled Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a range of air conditioning systems at our large commercial site in Newcastle. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and functionality of the site's HVAC systems, responding to planned maintenance as well as reactive service calls.
The Package:
- Competitive salary between £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
- Company van and fuel card provided
- 40-hour working week (with potential for overtime)

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults to ensure systems are operating efficiently
- Take full ownership of statutory F-Gas compliance, including meticulous record-keeping (FG2, FG6, FG7, FG16).
- Perform comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC, air handling, air conditioning, chiller, heat pump, and refrigeration systems.
- Expertly diagnose and repair faults across diverse AC systems (including Recip, Screw, Split, VRF) using appropriate testing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out
- Provide exceptional service to the client, ensuring minimal disruption to site operations
- Liaise with the Facilities Management team to schedule maintenance activities
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (essential)
- F-Gas certification (essential)
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a commercial setting
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
