Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical bias)
Location: Stockport, Manchester
Type: Full time, Permanent
Standard hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1pm - DAYS
Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum
Benefits: Pension (5% match), 30 days + holidays, Yearly pay rise, overtime available
The Company:
My client, a family-run manufacturer with nearly a century's experience as market leaders in the industry has now expanded to supply wholesale customers ranging from the UK to worldwide. They are seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with a strong background in manufacturing to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the completion of reactive and planned maintenance, as well as various projects and continuous improvement on site.
Responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventative maintenance on a wide range of machinery including compressors, heating and cooling systems, boilers, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, control systems
- Compliance and inspections
- Supportive the engineering manager
- Help with project and continuous improvement work
- Assisting the production department

Requirements:
- Hold a level 3 or above in an engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with industrial equipment
- Electrical qualification or competency
