We are currently looking for enthusiastic Nursery Assistants in Lancaster, available Monday to Friday for ad-hoc positions starting in September. Earn a competitive rate of £13-£14 per hour while enjoying the flexibility to choose your workdays.
As a Nursery Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners, supporting their growth through creative and educational activities. If you hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education, possess an NVQ or CACHE certificate, and have prior experience, we encourage you to apply. Your Responsibilities as a Nursery Assistant will include:
- Supporting the teacher with lessons and behavior management.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of children.

- Communicating effectively with children, staff, parents, and carers as needed.
- Adapting your approach based on the needs of the children.

Requirements:
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- At least 6 months of experience working with children (with the ability to provide 2 professional references).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- A genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to demonstrate sensitivity and patience.
- CACHE Level 2/3 or relevant nursery experience preferred.
- Good understanding of EYFS principles.
