We are seeking experienced Office Administrators to join our local schools in and across Preston. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, experience using SIMS (School Information Management System), and a sound understanding of FMS (Financial Management System). The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can manage various administrative tasks in a busy school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage student records and data entry within SIMS, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Process financial transactions using FMS, including invoicing, budgeting, and reporting.
- Handle general office administration, including answering phones, managing emails, and providing support to staff and visitors.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, including attendance and financial reports, using SIMS and FMS.
- Support the HR and Finance teams with day-to-day administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist in organising school events, meetings, and other administrative functions.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience working in a school administration role, with strong knowledge of SIMS and FMS.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding requirements in a school environment.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
