We are a dedicated educational setting, offering tailored support for students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Our focus is on providing personalised assistance to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Cognition & Learning difficulties.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Year 4 student with an EHCP for SEMH and Cognition & Learning needs. You will support both academic and emotional development, helping the student thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one academic and emotional support for the student.
- Support the student's learning in literacy, numeracy, and other subjects.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement the student's EHCP.
- Monitor progress and adjust support strategies as necessary.
- Help the student develop social and emotional skills.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience supporting students with SEMH and learning difficulties.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Understanding of the EHCP process.
- Patience, resilience, and dedication to student welfare.
