Role Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate One-to-One Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 9 student who has an EHCP for Autism Spectrum Condition and ADHD. You will help the student thrive both academically and socially, ensuring they receive the attention they need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer one-to-one assistance based on the student's EHCP goals.
- Help the student with communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour management.
- Support learning in core subjects, adapting materials to suit the student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and the SEN team to monitor progress and provide feedback.
- Encourage the student's social interaction and engagement with peers.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with Autism and ADHD in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a passion for supporting student success.
- Knowledge of EHCP processes and personalised learning strategies.
