Role Summary:
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Operations and Settlements team,
responsible for overseeing all post-execution activities. These include the settlement of

regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Settlement and Processing:
Ensure accurate and timely execution of client and bank payment instructions within
strict currency cut-offs.
Investigate and resolve failed or non-received incoming and outgoing payments for
transaction accounts and clients, escalating issues as necessary to achieve resolution.
Liaise with banks and custodians daily to ensure trades and payments are settled on
time.
Accurately allocate incoming and outgoing payments.
Ensure all trades are captured, matched, and booked promptly and accurately in
appropriate systems.
Process and transmit cash and securities instructions to custodians in a timely manner.
Monitor, investigate, and resolve unmatched, failed, or mismatched trades.
Reconciliation, Asset servicing and Reporting:
Perform daily reconciliations of securities and nostro cash accounts.
Manage and process corporate actions for client holdings.
Ensure accurate controls and records are maintained in line with department
procedures and compliance policies.
Monitor and process client reporting, including trade confirmations, monthly
statements, and corporate action notifications.
Proactively review and address indicators of operational issues to mitigate risks
before client and regulatory impact.
Communication and Collaboration:
Respond promptly to queries from the sales team and middle office.
Liaise with traders, middle-office teams, counter parties, and custodians to ensure
smooth trade matching and settlement.
Risk Management:
Understand operational risks within the team and work actively to mitigate them.
Ensure compliance with all internal policies, operational controls, and regulatory
requirements.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
Essential:
Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in a Payments or Back Office role within
financial services.
Proficiency in MS Excel, with advanced skills (preferably including VBA and SQL).
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to use initiative and apply acquired
knowledge effectively.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Excellent numerical and organisational skills.
Positive "can-do" attitude and openness to change.
Desired:
Knowledge of OTC financial products, Client Assets (CASS) rules, EMIR, and
MiFID.
Proficiency in Turkish is an advantage.
Experience with financial services, banking operations, or dealer/brokerage
operations.
CISI - IOC Qualification or equivalent.
Familiarity with ClearStream Xact platform, Euroclear, or similar systems.
Basic understanding of asset servicing and corporate action processing
