Requirements for the Supply Teacher role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE).
- Previous experience as a classroom teacher or in a school support role.
- Proficient classroom management skills.
- The ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Adaptability to work in diverse school settings.
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or a willingness to obtain one.
Your responsibilities as a Supply Teacher:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons when the regular class teacher is absent, covering various subjects and age groups.
- Adapting to different school environments and following provided lesson plans.
- Establishing positive relationships with students, fellow staff members, and parents.
- Completing essential administrative tasks, including providing lesson feedback and maintaining attendance records.
- Creating a positive learning atmosphere and effectively managing classroom behaviour.
