We are looking for a Y3 General class TA to support a school mornings only 08:30-12:30 daily, you will be required to support duties such as resource printing, preparation of activities, tidying, setting up, small group support, 1:1 support and record keeping. Fluency with IPAD'S and strong IT skills will be needed. Ideally you will be someone who has strong behaviour management skills, control, experience in with relevant key stages and showcase intuitive skills. You will be regarded as part of a team and included in training, INSET and staff meetings.
Our primary school is based in FY2 Blackpool, a short walk (under 5 mins) from a bus stop and has onsite car parking. This role is term time only. Pay for this role is £13.50-£14 per hour. To be successful you must be a qualified L2 or L3 TA with previous experience.
Responsibilities:
... - Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards
- Provide assistance with lesson plans
- Support children across the curriculum
- Give extra support to children with special needs
- Help mark work
- Report student progress
- Help look after the children during school trips and activities
- Look after children that are unwell
- Attend meetings
Essential requirements:
- Experience working with young people
- Class management skills
- Comfortable managing challenging behaviour
- Able to engage with and motivate children
- TA Qualified
