Our partner schools in Watford are seeking a General Cover Teacher to join their team, providing support across Early Years (EY), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2). If you are confident teaching across these stages, this could be the ideal role for you. This consistent part-time role for the rest of the academic year offers a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment. Your Cover Teacher Responsibilities:
- Mark and assess work from your days of teaching.
- Effectively manage the classroom and collaborate with teaching assistants.
- Record lesson development and briefly outline pupil progress.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- Follow planning to ensure a coherent learning journey.
- Deliver lessons with enthusiasm!

Requirements for the General Cover Teacher Role:
- Relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTS, etc.).
- Grade C or above (or equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths.
- Two references from the last 5 years.
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school.
- A job history covering the last 10 years.
- An in-date Enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Experience teaching in EY, KS1, and KS2 (desirable).
