A well-respected primary school in WA7 is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team for two days per week from March 2024 to March 2025. The school is dedicated to academic excellence and student development, ensuring that children are fully prepared for their transition to secondary school. Your Role:
- Lesson Delivery: Deliver engaging and well-structured Year 6 lessons in line with the curriculum.
- SATs Preparation: Support students in preparing for their SATs and their transition to secondary school.
- Classroom Atmosphere: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and support staff.
- Monitor Progress: Effectively monitor and assess student progress.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school, preferably in Year 6.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two references from the last five years, including one safeguarding reference.
