A well-respected primary school in WA7 is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team two days per week from March 2024 to March 2025. The school is committed to academic excellence and student development, ensuring children are well-prepared for their transition to secondary school. Your Role
- Lesson Delivery - Deliver engaging and well-structured Year 6 lessons in line with the curriculum.
- SATs Preparation - Support students in preparing for their SATs and transition to secondary school.
- Classroom Atmosphere - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaboration - Work closely with fellow teachers and support staff.
- Monitor Progress - Assess and track student progress effectively.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school, preferably in Year 6.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two references from the last five years, including one safeguarding reference.
