Requirements:
- Proven experience in a pastoral or mentoring role within a secondary school setting.
- A relevant qualification in education, youth work, counselling, or social work (Level 3 or above)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- A firm but empathetic approach to behaviour management and conflict resolution

Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised pastoral care to students, assisting them in overcoming personal and academic challenges.
- Track and enhance the attendance, behaviours, and academic performance of selected students.
- Create and implement intervention plans for students who are at risk of under performing.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and external organisations to create a strong support network.
- Conduct one-on-one and small group mentoring sessions, focusing on building resilience, confidence, and effective study habits.
- Keep detailed records of student progress while ensuring adherence to safeguarding policies.
- Supervise student support services, with particular attention to Year 7 pupils.
