Adult Support Worker Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to adults over the age of 18 with learning disabilities, helping them to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Responsibilities:- Provide person-centered support to adults with learning disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care.
- Support individuals in accessing community resources and social activities.
- Promote independence and empowerment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Follow care plans and risk assessments.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other professionals.
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect.
- Full UK driving license is preferred.
- Must have a current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults.
