About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Domestic Plumber to join our Housing Maintenance and Installations team for a local authority based in Blyth. This is a contract role focused on bathroom maintenance and installations in residential properties. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bathroom maintenance, including repairing and replacing fixtures, fittings, and pipes.
- Install new bathroom suites, including sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, radiators etc.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors as required.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and address their plumbing concerns professionally.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a domestic plumber, particularly in bathroom maintenance and installations.
- Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
- Valid CSCS card.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
