We are seeking a skilled and experienced social housing plumber to join our team on a short-term contract basis in Houghton le Spring. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the well-being of residents by providing essential plumbing services and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Repairing and replacing pipes and fixtures.
- Troubleshooting and resolving plumbing issues.
- Installing and maintaining water heaters, boilers, and other appliances.
- Responding to emergency calls for plumbing repairs.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively as part of a team, following instructions and collaborating with colleagues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plumber, ideally within the social housing sector.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using various plumbing tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A reliable and hardworking attitude.
- A commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport.
