Job Title: KS4 Tutor (Post 16 and Life Skills Support)

About the Role:

Randstad Tuition Services is seeking an enthusiastic and committed mentor to provide essential support to KS4 students in Kirkby. The role focuses on helping students with post-16 guidance and developing vital life skills, preparing them for future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as a mentor, providing guidance and emotional support to students.
• Teaching basic skills to improve confidence and independence.
• Exploring career options with students and helping them plan for their future.
• Engaging students in meaningful conversations around their interests to build rapport and motivation.
• Supporting the development of practical life skills including communication, financial literacy, and other essential abilities.

Requirements:

• Proven previous experience working with KS4 students (aged 14-16).
• DBS (On Update Service)
• Ability to engage and inspire young people through mentoring and tailored learning.
• Strong communication skills and an empathetic approach.
• Knowledge of post-16 pathways and career options is desirable.
• A positive, flexible, and patient attitude to support varying student needs.
