Your responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Regularly assess and evaluate student progress through tests, quizzes, assignments, and observations, providing feedback to guide their improvement.
- Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment by setting clear expectations, using positive reinforcement, and managing student behavior effectively.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, achievements, and any concerns, fostering a collaborative approach to student development
- Reflect on teaching practices, seek feedback, and make adjustments to improve instructional effectiveness and student outcomes
- Ensure that the curriculum is delivered effectively, meeting all educational standards and guidelines set by the school and educational authorities
An ideal applicant has to:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (Essential for this role)
- Have Right to work in the UK
- Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Provide 2 proven professional references
- Proven success in teaching KS2
- A knack for making learning fun and engaging
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- A commitment to engaging and inspiring young learners
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
