We are looking for an empathetic and hardworking Teacher to work in a mainstream primary school based in Harpenden. This role is based in a two-form entry Primary school. This exciting job opportunity would include assisting and supporting children with their lessons, learning and ensuring behaviour management is kept in check.

Responsibilities:
- Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
- Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
- Having control over a whole class and maintaining discipline
- Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
- Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs.
- Dedicated interest in children's education and creating the best learning environment.
- Positive outlook and attitude.
- Knowledge of various teaching methods.
- Good organisational and verbal communication skills.
Requirements:
- An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- A degree qualification in teaching (PGCE) along with a QTS
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum
- Being passionate about teaching and learning
- Availability to start ASAP
- Tailoring your approach to the individual needs of children where necessary
- Relevant teaching experience (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references)
