As a supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of local schools, providing cover for planned absences, unexpected sickness, and longer-term vacancies. Whether you're an experienced teacher looking to manage your work-life balance or an ECT eager to gain valuable classroom experience, this role offers the flexibility and support you need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the primary curriculum.
- Provide a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and social development of all students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain high standards of discipline.
- Adapt to different school settings and establish rapport with students and staff quickly.
- Ensure all work is marked and feedback is provided where necessary.
- Communicate with school leadership and staff as required to ensure a smooth and productive teaching day.
- Support the needs of students with varying learning abilities and ensure all children are included and engaged.
What are we looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in primary schools
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Adaptable, reliable, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for education and making a positive impact on children's learning and development.
