This is a proudly non-selective school which serves the local community.
The School's aim is to enable pupils to gain the personal skills and confidence to shape their own futures, and those of others around them, in a rapidly changing world.
All the pupils are nurtured by Class Teachers but the curriculum is avowedly enriched by the teaching of Art, Games, PE and Music by subject specialist staff.
This role will involve supporting the learning of the child and ensuring they are engaging with the wider school life. The school has strong links to the community and is looking for a Teaching Assistant who can support this ethos.
As a successful Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work, encourage and inspire pupils each day. You will assist teachers to achieve academic goals and ensure the safety of children.
You must be able to use your understanding of education and learning to promote outstanding outcomes for all pupils at all times. It is essential that you have an understanding of the National Curriculum and how this can effectively be supported in a fun and creative way.
This is a full time role available to start ASAP on a long term position.
