We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our partner schools in and around Stowmarket. Working in various local schools, you will help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally, working alongside teachers to create a fun and inclusive learning environment.
At Randstad, you will have a dedicated consultant who will provide ongoing support and guidance throughout your journey. We are committed to finding the right placements for you and ensuring your experience as a Primary School Teaching Assistant is fulfilling and rewarding.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom environment
- Providing one-to-one support to students, addressing their individual learning needs
- Assisting with small group activities, ensuring students are engaged and participating
- Supporting students with their social and emotional development
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential
- Engaging and interactive teaching style
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) and Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option)
