Essential Skills and Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification.
- 2 relevant professional references

- Establishing rapport by quickly building relationships with both staff and students.
- Ability to remain composed and well-organised.
- Classroom Management: Able to properly regulate the dynamics in the classroom.
- Able to interact with coworkers and pupils through effective communication abilities.

- Driving ability preferred due to rural locations.
Responsibilities as a Supply Teacher:
- Teach and encourage student learning in various classroom settings as directed by the Head Teacher, often with short notice.
- Demonstrate commitment to positive behaviour management and maintain pupil's health and safety during school activities.
- Attend to administrative and pastoral needs of assigned classes/groups.
- Set challenging yet appropriate tasks, ensuring high levels of student interest and expectations.
- Plan and deliver activities aligned with the National Curriculum, catering to student's needs and abilities.
- Set, mark, record, and return work following school policies.
