Role Overview:
As the Year 5 Maternity Cover Teacher, you will have the rewarding opportunity to inspire a love of learning and help students develop their potential. You'll play a key role in creating an engaging, inclusive classroom where students feel motivated to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Design creative and stimulating lessons in line with the national curriculum that capture students' imaginations and support their learning.
- Foster an Inclusive Environment: Create a positive, welcoming classroom where every student feels valued and encouraged to participate.
- Tailor Learning to Meet Individual Needs: Adapt your teaching methods to suit the diverse abilities and learning styles of your pupils.
- Monitor Progress: Regularly assess student development, providing constructive feedback to guide their learning journey.
- Collaborate and Contribute: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and support the wider school community.
- Participate in School Life: Take part in extra-curricular activities and school events to help create a well-rounded educational experience for students.
Requirements:
- A degree in Primary Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Year 5 or a similar age group is preferred.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
