With September around the corner, our schools are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teacher to support their setting on a full time basis commencing the new academic year. The school is a primary setting, who is looking for someone who is ready to make a difference, can be a positive and inspiring role model for students and can motivate and engage their class to meet their full potential.
As a Primary Teacher (September) your responsibilities include:
- Delivering the pre-prepared lesson plan to the class ensuring all students are engaged and learning.
- Using a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of all students.
- Ensuring the classroom is a safe and welcoming environment for all students to learn in.
- Working collaboratively with the teaching assistant or any support staff.
- Building rapport with the students.
- Building relationships with other staff members within the school.
- Have a passion for teaching and education!
To be successful for the Primary Teacher (September) role, you must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad Education)
- Hold eligibility to work in the UK
- Have a minimum of 6 weeks experience teaching Key Stage 1/ Key Stage 2.
- Have a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Have excellent communication skills
