Role Overview
As a Primary Teacher at our school, you'll play an instrumental role in building the foundation for students' academic and personal growth. You'll work with a collaborative team, including in-house psychologists, teaching assistants, and therapeutic professionals, to deliver tailored lessons that encourage independence and resilience. This role is perfect for an educator who thrives in a dynamic, supportive environment and is passionate about transforming young lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Engagement: Deliver engaging, personalised lessons that meet the individual needs of each student.
- Collaborative Planning: Work closely with support staff and therapists to develop effective learning strategies.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student progress, celebrating each "huge small victory" along the way.
- Parental Involvement: Maintain regular communication with families to ensure a supportive, cohesive approach to each student's education.
Who We're Looking For
- Qualified & Experienced: Qualified Teacher Status with a strong foundation in primary education.
- Compassionate Educator: A patient, adaptable, and caring professional with experience in SEN, particularly ASD and SEMH.
- Team-Oriented: A collaborative team player with a "can do" attitude and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
