I am currently working with a school who are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher who has experience teaching across the EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Situated in Wetherby, this primary school has a high intake of EHCP learners. With lovely staff who are always on hand to support and develop each person they take on, shows the level of commitment in providing that inclusive environment where learners can thrive.
The ideal Primary Teacher will be fluent in English, have a good understanding of the UK curriculum, excellent classroom management skills and be able to differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Implement effective teaching strategies that encompass active learning
- Effective behaviour management strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with learners, staff, and parents.
- Adapt to the changing needs of a diverse student population.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / ECT's welcome to apply.
- Proven experience as a Primary Teacher in a UK educational setting.
- Familiarity with the UK curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
- Excellent behaviour management skills.
- A positive outlook and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
