We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil in the Leeds area. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a pay rate of £87.75 - £90 per day.

Key Responsibilities:
- Offer consistent and personalised support for a Year 4 pupil, assisting with all aspects of their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Help the pupil engage in the curriculum, ensuring they can access and participate fully in class activities.
- Develop strategies to support the pupil in managing challenging behaviours, fostering emotional resilience and self-regulation.
- Support the pupil with social interactions, encouraging positive communication and relationship-building with peers.
- Work closely with the class teacher to monitor progress and adapt support strategies as needed.
- Provide feedback and assist in the development of an individualised learning plan for the pupil.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children with additional needs is essential, particularly in a primary school setting.
- Understanding of social, emotional, and academic development, with the ability to implement tailored support strategies.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children, with a commitment to encouraging positive behaviour.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the class teacher and other staff.
- Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willingness to apply for one).
