Position: Primary KS1 Teaching Assistant
We are seeking exceptional teaching assistants who can create an engaging and inclusive learning environment while providing tailored support to meet each student's unique needs. Our client trusts us to find a dedicated teaching assistant for the HG4 area.
Working with Randstad offers flexibility to accommodate your other commitments. You'll also benefit from frequent communication with friendly consultants who are always available to answer any queries you may have.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Support individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
- Supervise students during break times and extracurricular activities.
- Assist with classroom management and maintaining discipline.
- Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the wider school community.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in supporting children's education.
- Basic understanding of child development and educational practices.
- Possess an Enhanced DBS check or be prepared to obtain one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
