About the Role
As a Project Control Lead, you will work closely with the project manager to oversee planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting activities. You'll ensure alignment with project objectives while maintaining a focus on health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the baseline programme in coordination with the project manager.
- Report on progress, update the programme for changes, and assess the critical path to mitigate risks.
- Monitor cost and time against the baseline plan and budget.
- Provide detailed reports on project costs, cash flow, and performance against KPIs.
- Identify, monitor, and analyse risks, working collaboratively with the project management team.
- Manage project documentation, including customer documentation and deliverable, while maintaining accurate registers.
- Analyse current project positions and forecast end-of-project outcomes.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to align expectations with project goals.
- Support health, safety, quality, and environmental (HSEQ) initiatives and adhere to company policies and procedures.
About You
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- An Engineering or Technical degree and professional qualifications (APM or ACostE).
- Demonstrated experience in project control and working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on critical path analysis and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- A proactive and interrogative approach to health, safety, and environmental practices.
