My client, a growing small-to-medium civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a major civil engineering project in West Ruislip, West London. This is an ongoing position working with a close-knit and proactive team on a directly delivered project worth £10m+.
The selected candidate will have a broad experience across all rail and civil engineering projects. Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience working with tier 2 contractors, especially within the concrete sector.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Working alongside the Contracts Manager Commerical team to ensure delivery
- Practical application of Project Management techniques in transport setting
- Assisting with the contract with multiple interfaces, to time and budget
- Setting up and managing the construction plans
- Helping to ensure the project is set to be on time and within budget
- Working closely with your a team of Engineers
- Liaising with the client
- Weekly and monthly planning and forecasting
Candidate requirements:
- Degree qualifies in Construction, Engineering or equivalent
- Have previous experience as a Project Manager
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- A valid CSCS card
