Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a move? Our Client is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in HVAC installs and maintenance to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in the Wakefield area with occasional travel across the UK required.
Responsibilities
- The individual would be responsible for pricing all works, liaise with the client, setting up all suppliers and sub-contractors, managing of the project, Health & Safety, site audits, reporting and final accounting including
- You will be responsible for the technical support, estimating and management of all projects inclusive of CDM works.
- To liaise with the client, engineers and subcontractors representatives.
- Ideally, you will have experience in delivering all types of HVAC projects
Some of your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Health & Safety - CPP, CDM Compliance/Management, Physical Audits
- Estimation - Review, and package Project costs (including suitable evidence to support audits)
- Sub-contractor Management - Performance (technical, commercial, H&S)
- Client Liaison - Weekly/Monthly Meetings, Physical liaison in person
- Client reporting - Weekly/Monthly Key Requirements
- Prior experience within the Building Construction and Maintenance industry
- Experience of managing Hard Services projects.
- Previous leadership skills and experience.
- Experience working with project management tools and software.
Qualifications
- Minimum SMSTS training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to comfortably deal with clients on a daily basis.
- Ability to plan ahead, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads for self and others including having good people management and motivational skills.
- Able to work under pressure to meet set deadlines, multi-task and work methodically
- You will be responsible for providing leadership, management and development of project opportunities within the FM team.
- You will ensure projects are secured and delivered to meet time and budget requirements and to meet or
- exceed client expectations.
- This role has a definite bias towards M&E/ HVAC.
