About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction of a £8 million learning centre in West London, from groundworks to fit-out and completion.
The project features a timber frame and CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) structure, making timber construction experience essential. Sustainability is a key focus, and familiarity with low-carbon building methods or Passivhaus principles would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and consultants, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Coordinate with clients, design teams, and local authorities to ensure smooth execution.
Manage programme, procurement, and risk assessment.
Ensure all site operations adhere to HSE regulations and company policies.
Requirements
✔ Proven experience as a no.1 Project Manager on new-build construction projects of similar scale.
✔ Timber frame or CLT construction experience is essential.
✔ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and subcontractors effectively.
✔ CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications preferred.
