Our client, a respected main contractor based in Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their established team. This contractor has secured a new £40 million school project set to commence early in the new year.
The role offers the opportunity to deliver a diverse range of projects valued between £10 million and £40 million. The contractor specialises in sectors including education, commercial, healthcare, accommodation, industrial, and care.
The client is keen to interview candidates who are available to start in the early part of next year.
Role Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee the project lifecycle, managing construction activities, budgets, schedules, and quality control to ensure successful delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to achieve and exceed project objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the safety of all personnel while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and safety on-site.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing projects in commercial, industrial, education, or leisure sectors.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and coordinate teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and adherence to safety regulations.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid).
