Randstad is partnering with a reputable firm of contractors based in the North West to recruit for an Project Manager to work on their site in Bootle, Liverpool.
This business is known for its construction projects across in the sectors that include education, commercial, healthcare and residential.
The successful Project Manager will be responsible for the following duties:
- To be responsible for a team of Site Managers, Site management and sub contractor management
- To liaise with and communicate with the contracts manager on all site based parts of the project.
- Formulate the construction programme using the agreed software.
- Update project programme and short term programmes using the correct software
- Take responsibility for the production of the construction phase plans and be responsible for its availability on site.
- To liaise with clients and contractors to ensure efficient control of all project aspects and ensure that service and quality expectations are being achieved.
- Responsible for Set up and secure the site including: welfare, office accommodation, power and water including taking any relevant meter readings, logistics, hoardings and site security, signage, internet and WIFI facilities.
The successful Project Manager will ideally have experience of the following:
- Experience of managing construction projects, ideally across healthcare, residential, education, commercial and super prime residential
- Preferably degree qualified, minimum HND or HNC qualification.
- Preferably CIOB or RICS membership
- Suitably industry standard management skills
- IT literacy including word, Excel and Email
- Asta projects programme or equivalent software skills
- Health and safety skills
- SMSTS
- Asbestos awareness and working at height
- First aid certificate
- PASMA
