Are you detail-oriented with a knack for numbers? We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team in Middleton. This role offers flexible part-time hours, hybrid working, and the opportunity for long-term career progression. Key Responsibilities:
Process and track approximately 450 accounts payable invoices per month, ensuring correct coding and authorisation.
Assist procurement with invoice price and quantity checks.
Act as the key contact for external vendors, handling invoice queries, bank detail updates, and supplier setup.
Process weekly and ad hoc supplier payments, including international transactions (GBP, EUR, USD).
Maintain accurate cash flow reporting, ensuring all transactions align with bank statements.
Prepare daily and monthly sales reporting, ensuring all invoices are correctly imported into Sage.
Reconcile supplier statements, addressing discrepancies as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Highly organised with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Sage experience is a plus but not essential.
A minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent).
0-2 years of financial or similar experience preferred.
