The Role
As a Welding / NDT QC inspector you will be responsible for overseeing the quality and safety of all welding, installation and fabrication activities, including dimensional inspection and inspecting and assessing the strength and quality of welds, ensuring the correct equipment is being used, checking weld specifications and ensuring all safety regulations are being adhered to.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Skills and Experience:
- CSWIP 3.1 minimum
- PCN Level 2 PT - Essential
- PCN Level 2 Radiographic Interpretation - Essential
- Interpretation of ISO & engineering drawings
- Advanced knowledge of welding procedures & processes
- Excellent communication skills with a good eye for detail
- Good IT skills and ability to use Microsoft software to create reports, presentations, end of install/manufacturing reports
Desirable:
- PCN Level 2 MT
- PCN Level 2 UT
