QTS-Qualified Secondary Tutor - Leicester
Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)? We are seeking a skilled Secondary Tutor to join our team in Leicester. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support students, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), by delivering personalised, one-on-one or small group lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and targeted lessons to secondary-aged pupils, including those with SEND, across Key Stages 3, 4, and post-16 education.
- Provide focused support to students preparing for GCSEs and post-16 qualifications, helping them improve subject knowledge and exam strategies.
- Tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Design individual learning plans to address specific goals and challenges.
- Monitor and assess progress, providing detailed feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- QTS certification (mandatory).
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting, including supporting SEND students.
- Strong knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum, including GCSE and post-16 content.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
