Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage children's learning and development
- Maintain a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive
- Assist with children's personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and rest times
- Build positive connections with children, families, and colleagues, ensuring clear and open communication
- Observe and record children's progress, celebrating achievements and identifying growth areas
- Collaborate with team members to foster a warm and inclusive nursery environment
- Adhere to safeguarding and health and safety policies consistently
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred
- Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
- Paediatric First Aid qualification is an advantage
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
