If so, Randstad are recruiting for a Children's Senior Social Worker to join the Herefordshire Council -Child Protection & Court Team (Perm). This is a full-time role offering Up to £43,223 - £47,403

Overview:
- Lead and manage a caseload of complex child protection and court cases, ensuring that the needs of children and families are at the forefront of all decision-making.
- Provide expert guidance and supervision to junior social workers, ensuring high standards of practice and supporting their professional development.
- Undertake and lead in-depth risk assessments and develop child protection plans in partnership with families and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Represent the local authority in court proceedings, preparing and presenting reports and providing evidence as required.
- Work closely with legal professionals, health services, and other agencies to ensure coordinated, child-centered interventions.
- Maintain detailed, accurate case records and ensure all interventions comply with statutory guidance and local policies.
Requirements:
- Social Work England registered
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS
Experience:
- Children's Social worker
