Responsibilities:
- Promote mental and emotional well-being for children, young people, and families through effective clinical interventions.
- Conduct mental health assessments, including self-harm risk assessments, and provide therapeutic treatment.
- Prevent serious mental health issues through early identification, decision-making, and appropriate referrals.
- Manage a caseload, attending team meetings and case reviews regularly.
To be considered for the CAMHS practitioner role, ideally you will have:
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- A diploma/degree in social work and registration with Social Work England.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proven experience in managing a caseload effectively.
