Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Blackburn and Darwen Council's Duty and Assessment Team. This is a full time role, with a fantastic pay rate of £39 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Support with Duty.
- Visit children regularly and be confident in engaging children to understand what life looks like for them.
- Be able to co-ordinate and chair CIN meetings and strategy meetings in a timely manner and ensure we have a working plan for the child to reduce risk and access early support for children and families.
- Adhere to timescales for children which includes seeing children in timescales and also completing assessments in timescales.
- Manage a low caseload.
Requirements:
- Social Work England registered
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS
