Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Manchester City Council's Fostering - Kinship team. This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of £35 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Experience in assessment in fostering and independent form F (kinship).
- Champion and support our recruitment campaign here in Manchester and across GM with the ongoing recruitment campaign we have in partnership with GMCA and across 10 Greater Manchester Authorities.
- This role is integral to supporting the ongoing campaign and assisting with recruitment and retention of Foster Carers in Manchester.
- The recruitment and assessment team focus on assessing fostering applicants through to approval at the fostering panel.
- They undertake pre-assessment training with applicants, and attend recruitment events alongside our designated recruitment officer.
- Supervising Social workers on this team will be focused on completing high quality Form F assessments as their predominant role, alongside the support of recruitment of fostering applicants.
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Social Work England registered
- Enhanced DBS
