We have an exciting Locum Social Worker opportunity within a dedicated Community Learning Disability Team based in the Bolton, Greater Manchester area.
The role would be full time for 6 months (subject to review)

Responsibilities:
- Work will involve working with adults with a learning disability within the community to assess and support plan, as well as working with individuals with a learning disability whose needs present as a risk of significant harm to self, or others. This may include individuals who have offending histories, who have, or are at risk of having contact with the Criminal Justice System, or at risk of admission to hospital or in out of borough placements due to the complexities of their needs.
- Care Act assessments and strengths based support planning, taking into account available resources, universal and voluntary services.
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar social work setting.
- Experience of report writing such as Ministry of Justice Tribunal reports.
- Diploma/Degree in Social Work.
- Registered with Social Work England.
