A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Locum Social Worker to join a Looked After Children's team in the Knowsley area, this is due to the progression of previous social workers within the team.
The role would be hybrid working - 2 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:
- Caseload: 14.5-15
- You will be working within the 'Looked After Children' team, managing a complex caseload
- You will be providing a high-quality, effective social work service to respond to the needs of children and their families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines
- Your role will involve assessing, planning and delivering focused interventions to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes
To be considered for the Social Worker role:
- 1-3+ years experience of working within a similar social work setting
- Experience of working within a statutory children's team
- Looked After Children or permanence experience would be highly desirable but not essential, open to social workers with an interest in this field.
- Diploma/Degree in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Evidence of working with a complex caseload
