We're currently seeking a passionate and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Children's MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) team on a locum basis in Longsight, Greater Manchester. Responsibilities:
- Maintaining relationships with a variety of different teams and local authorities
- Gathering and collating relevant information with our partner agencies.
- Analysing the information to make professional judgements and recommendations
- Working within referral and assessment teams or screening team taking referrals about children who are at risk of significant harm (sec 47 Children's Act 1989)
- Screening for children involved in domestic abuse
- Undertaking s17 assessment and intervention with children and families
To be considered for the Social Worker role you ideally will have:
- Have 2 years' experience of working within a similar social work setting
- Social Work Qualification
- SWE registered
- Be child-focused and able to implement relationship-based and systemic-based practices
- Work well individually and within a team
