Responsibilities:

• Assessing and supporting families through some of the most complex times of their lives
• Understanding risk and working with a variety of agencies to safeguard children during times of need
• Managing a mixture of casework associated with children in need and child protection
• Undertaking court proceedings, supported by your practice development manager and team manager as required.

To be considered for the Social Worker role, ideally you will have:

• Have 2-5 plus years' experience of working within a similar social work setting
• SWE registered
• BSc Social Work or equivalent
• Experience of using Protocol Liquid Logic would be desirable
• Be able to manage a full and complex caseload
• Be child-focused and able to implement relationship-based and systemic-based practices
• Work well individually and within a team
